chicago apple store

    so i was in the apple store in downtown chicago and I overheard a lady talking to an apple guy and he was saying that the iphone was only for at&t, but then he went on to say that if you use purplerain you can use tmobile or any other gsm, He said just check out the dev teams blog. Has anyone else heard a apple employee telling people they don't have to use att for the iphone

    I've heard a few genius comments about JB and firmware; and I've even seen their JB iPhones, so it's probably something that isn't enforced on a regular basis, if at all....:eek::eek::eek:

    I can remember going to the Stockton Street - San Francisco Apple Store for an iPhone workshop, and the presenter had a JB iPhone with Cydia and Winterboard, but was using a non-JB iPhone during the workshop....:p:p:p
