Dang, I missed the entire 2 day rescue lifting of the miners.

If this ever gets turned into a Documentary movie the only director that I can think of to make the project would be Werner Herzog.

Why would it need to be made into a movie? The real thing was much better than anything hollywood could do.

Have you ever seen a movie length documentary by Werner Herzog. Try watching either Grizzly Man or Encounters at the End of the World which won the award for Best Documentary at the 2008 Edinburgh International Film Festival and was nominated for the Academy Award for Documentary Feature.

I don't understand why they'd be worried about miners "isolating" themselves. I mean, isn't it good to have distractions, so that fights don't break out?
