Chime of death, iMac still working

My mom just booted her iMac DV 400 (yes, she still uses it) while I was there.

It made a loud (very loud) beep, while the screen was grey. The power button flashed in yellow, and then became orange, and then chimed like it usually does, and booted normally.

Now she is using it, it's like if nothing happened.

Specs: iMac DV 400mHz, 640 MB. Mac OS 10.4.11

If it's working normally and all RAM is detected - nothing to worry (as for now).

Thanks, I'll have a look.

RAM for these things is so expensive, I hope it still works 🙄
