Those models feature LiDar sensors on all of them! Well if the cameras on all iPhones have sensor shift stabilisation and LiDar scanners then the Mini will one awesome phone. And the standard model will make the 6.1" Pro model a difficult purchasing decision? Will be very interesting to see what Apple does with its iPhone cameras this year.
These mockups don't show a LiDAR sensor on the non pro cameras (the two other circles are the flash and a microphone, same as the 12).

I would far rather have touchID in the display than an enormous camera system jutting off the back of the phone

There's no S line no more.
it's 13
I mean considering we had an XS just a couple of years ago (my current phone) I think it's a rather sweeping statement to say there is no S line... I'm not saying you're not wrong but I don't think there's any real proof of it just yet

I just looked more closely and it does show you are correct. Thank you for pointing that out to me.
Let's hope they still have one, but unfortunately I think this will just be a hope.

Why would the case mold show the camera elements? That part of the mold would just be a riser surrounding the bump.

I love this trend. But go further! I'm definitely in the camp of make the cameras even bigger, with better sensors and lenses, increase the phone thickness to match the lenses, and then give us 2 day battery life...

One day I won't have to choose between my phone and my A7rVIII.

I wonder what features they can add to make my 12 Pro Max seem old? I could not care less about the design, I want to know what it can do.
I don’t think that’s apples goal. Their brand value is based on the fact that a 2/3 year old iPhone is still highly valuable on the second hand market. An iPhone 12 won’t have any problems for a few years.

I really meant what features they could add to make my iPhone 12 Pro Max feel old to me personally.

The leaks all seem pretty consistent on the smaller notch and camera improvements. I’m curious to see if they are proven true in a few months.
