Damn. Going to need a boat.

lmao!, that's hilarious!

How to use:

- Place your order
- pick your time of pickup, at least 30 minutes later
- they make your order right at the time it's due, so arriving five minutes after would mean minimal waiting
- go straight to the register, stand next to the register. When the cashier sees you, say you're picking up an order.
- They'll tap your name into the register and get your order ready
- Pay if you need too, it's best / fastest to pre-pay.
- That's it.

After you try their online ordering, you'll quickly see how waiting in line is for CHUMPS at Chipotle.

I'll wait until I can customize my order. Until then, I wait in line. <sigh>

What kind of customizing is and is not possible? I assume you can pick your fillings, but maybe not things like "extra beans"?

(My iPhone has no slots left to play with this  But I'll probably delete something and give it a shot. Or hide it under Spotlight.)

Damn. Going to need a boat.

I think it's one of those low tide Chipotles. We have one of those here, and I can't tell you how many times I've been swept out to sea waiting for my tacos. If this app helps me pick the right time of day, it will be worth the price.

Yeah, you can't have extra rice or beans or salsa...just extra meat for some reason.....

Does anyone know for sure that fajitas stands for the the veggies.....it would make sense but is an odd way to put it...

Fajita = the pepper/onion mix.

I always get a vegetarian fajita burrito with all 4 salsas, and everything but sour cream. (Sometimes I go vegan: no cheese.)

Qs:

Can you choose more than one salsa?

Can you pre-pay a tip on your credit card instead of using "the can"?

I don't tip them or Starbucks. They make regular wages and they didn't bring me my meal, cleanup basket or refresh my drink for me.

I don't think anyone tips them in Annapolis. It's always the same 2 dollars and odd change in the bowl to guilt you into it. Nothing ever more.

Always half steak and half barbacoa + fajitas for me

I am yet to try beans though. How are they?

I too am wondering what the pickup logistics are. Is there a sign for online pickups, or do you just muscle through the crowd and try to decide where to insert yourself in the line? (Since the last few people in line already HAVE their food sitting lined up at the register and are simply paying. So I assume you'd get behind them and ahead of those who are pondering guacamole--if you can figure out where that division is.)

Just walk up the the cash register. This is what I did for years when we just faxed the order in for the office. Just tell them you are here to pick up your order. Same would be true if you ordered via the website.

I remember the first few times I picked up a fax order and 20 or so people were giving me the evil eye as I just walk up paid and left. I would even fax in an order for just myself. This is just another ordering method provided by Chipotle, so you are just using a service provided by them. Don't feel bad when you get the looks.

I have seen "Pick Up" signs above some of the cash registers, but not at all of the locations I've visited.

Right before you finish your order - there's a "notes" section - why not write "EXTRA RICE" or "EXTRA SALSA" there?

So it's a creative idea, but wouldn't an (iPhone optimized?) web page do just as well? At the point where you've actually installed a Chipotle application on your phone, isn't it time to diversify your meal options? :p

Diversify would be a welcome thought, but I can't find Panda Express, In-N-Out Burger, Michael Mina, Morton's or Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in my Apple App Store....:p

Dude, I think anyone eating at Ruth's Chris often enough to need an app for it probably will need to diversify into a larger pair of pants fairly quickly...

But I'm kinda serious... I mean, do y'all eat at Chipotle like more than once a week? I used to go there once in a while in grad school, but... even if you really frequent the place, if the other places you go for lunch offered apps, would you really want a page full of restaurant apps?

Correctamundo.

Same as on their website.

I hate to admit this, but I probably average Chipotle a couple times a week. It's one of my few fast food habits. I can't see wanting something like this for many, or indeed any, other places.

To each his own. I don't tip as much as at a sit-down restaurant, but they do make your food custom--more so than regular fast food.

Looks like it has great potential, just wonder how good it will end up being. Don't know why more pizza places haven't jumped on something like this.
Pizza Hut does

The only thing worse then a Chipotle burrito is a Taco Bell burrito.
Worse tasting or worse for you?

Does anyone know for sure that fajitas stands for the the veggies.....it would make sense but is an odd way to put it...
Fajita means "little sashes" and refers to skirt steak. Having fajita mean peppers and onions makes no sense at all.

I used it yesterday and it worked great. The names are attached to each item, so that helps with a bag full of aluminum foil! pick up at the register, no line. Food as ordered.

There are a few awkward elements, including changing location after your first order. Maybe I'm just slow, but I would have expected there to be an option to tap the location instead of hitting find at the bottom of the screen.

You can select every option once (not more), so you can load up your bowl or burrito, but no 'extra' helpings except meat.

I like it. Do I need it? no. since there is a 30 min delay, it isn't for those in a rush, but I was on my way to pick up my son and needed 20 minutes or so to get there, so it was perfect

used it today in a busy location, walked in and out in 1 minute. so awesome! Mine was a 15 minute delay, ordered at work, waited, drove around the corner picked it up back at work in 10min. Line was an easy 20 minute line once I got there.

Heck, I'd settle for just an In-N-Out Burger store in Orlando, FL, forget the App.

Anytime I head west, I check the cities I will be in for In-N-Out Burger. I like 5 Guys, but nothing beats an In-N-Out Burger!
