Hello I got a CHKDSK check at startup of Windows 7 Pro and it's awfully slow on my MBP! 12 hours and it's halfway there! Have you guys encounter similar issue with CHKDSK?

CHKDSK from VMware Fusion on bootcamp partition worked for me

I have been chasing this problem for the last couple of days. I tried adjusting the fan speeds as mentioned in prior post and it had no noticeable affect. I let CHKDSK run for about 10 hrs and it was only about 20% complete, I finally bailed out in the middle of phase 3. I've also been trying to get Spinrite to run on my unibody MBP with no luck (it's DOS based and doesn't work with EFI). Today I had the idea to boot the bootcamp partition with Fusion and I'm happy to report that the CHKDSK succeeded in a reasonable amount of time (a couple of hours). There were certainly some errors that needed to be addressed and I'm hopeful that the drive issues won't continue to occur.
