Choosing a monitor with Freeview tuner? (LG M227WD or Samsung T220HD?)

As the title suggests I'm looking for a monitor that will serve a dual purpose. I'm moving to Manchester in September from the US and was wondering if the LG M227WD is a wise choice. From the reviews on Amazon it seems to be better (or more liked) than the Samsung, but I would like more opinions from anyone who has owned one or both.

I'm also wondering if the reception would be adequate with a small indoor aerial rather than a roof mounted aerial.

If you don't think that the LG is a good monitor, what would you suggest?

I have a sony bravia 26" that does the job verrryy nicely

i think any bog standard tv with a vga/dvi port will be fine
