Choosing the right band

Do you believe there is enough band (small) to ensure the watch on wrist or it will safer to take the large one?

You have more band overlap than I do using the large band. You should be fine using the smaller band you have on now.

I use the small band on the 2nd to last hole, and no issues here

I'm on the 2nd to last hole on the M/L band and it's never come off. If I'm not in the shower or it's not on the charger, it's on my wrist. I was concerned about how much band was left, bought a L/XL and it's actually too much band for me, it's less comfortable because the band doubles up so M/L it is for me.
