Choosing which groups to Push from AB

I know that if you are using Mobileme it's an all or nothing deal -- meaning it will sync EVERY SINGLE CONTACT in your address book without asking you which groups you want to sync.

If I disable it, I can choose manually but then I lose the OTA syncing ability.

Is there a work-around? Has anyone come up with a way?

I have 20+ groups on my computer, most of them are backups and don't need to be synced.

How can I choose which groups to sync?

Any ideas/help would be great.
