Anyway, if I have a 5 minute clip and want to chop out about 30 seconds from the middle of it, how would I go about it? Free software please; I'm sure there's some free OSX video editors. Thanks. Texas04 macrumors 6502a Dec 18, 2005 #2 if its AVI, then do it in iMovie, or spend 30 bucks on QT Pro and do it there... if quicktime wont read DIVX codecs then install the codec for it, they have it for Apple Computers so that Quicktime can read it
