The subject says it all. Since I got my S7 last Friday I have noticed some animations are very choppy (low FPS). This seems to be happening mostly with notifications: when I get a notification and I look at my watch and I see the notification sliding from the bottom… That animation is everything but smooth.

I know the first few days both iPhone and Watch do certain things in the background but it’s the first time I have experienced this. Anyone else?

I have a S6 and I'm seeing similar animation weirdness which tells me it's probably the OS.

I'm annoyed at the removal of useage from the watch and the app as well as the fact that certain tasks (like confirming 2FA) now require 2 touches on the watch when it used to be one. I don't get it, seems backwards.

Agreed.

My S7 is taking two touches or sometimes does not even recognize a touch for 2FA push notifications from Duo Mobile. I wasn’t sure if the cause was WatchOS or the Duo mobile App itself. Very annoying!

Yeah 8.1 is so bad on a bunch of different levels. Hope we get an update soon

Interesting. I have reduced motion turned on so I wonder if that's why I haven't seen it.
