    Hi all,

Wonder if any of you have any views on this? Since upgrading to Lion, playback of audio in iTunes suffers from random skips / jumps / general choppiness, when it is output to my amp through USB to DAC. Funny thing is it doesn't skip when output around the house through airport express (does airport buffer the data before output somehow?)

Running on a late 2006 iMac. With iTunes library on an external iomega drive. Never experienced this on snow leopard, wonder if my iMac is too old for the new OS. Everything else seems to have improved performance wise since upgrade though. Not running any other intensive apps alongside it, only safari, mail, ical etc, seems the longer the machine is on between restarts the worse the problem becomes.

Really starting to bug me now. Any ideas would be really helpful.
