To my mind, music doesn't necessarily have to be written to celebrate worship (such as is the case with some of the magnificent music composed by J S Bach, for example), but instead, context can transform the setting in which one can appreciate such music.
The example I would give is a spell-binding, electrifying (live) performance I heard of the Sanctus by Karl Jenkins (from his album The Armed Man) while attending Mass on Christmas Day well over a decade ago with my brother.

Got to see Leanna Crawford in concert a while back. (Was that a year ago now? Sheesh.) The song Still Waters still impacts me every time I hear it - and the whole album is fabulous!
