Here in the Netherlands we have Sinterklaas, he comes to us first by steamship, and then on a white horse. It is that important that the TV shows him arriving direct, plus tens of thousands are on the quayside. I hope to be there this year in Harderwijk on the 13th November with my grand children.

Gifts are given on the 5th December

I do not have $879 to spend on a chair and if I did I would not. It's a chair! :D

The Herman Miller Aeron isn't just a chair... it's an experience!

Seriously, I probably wouldn't spend $879 of my own money to buy one, but my previous workplace had those and it was THE most comfortable office chair I have ever used.

As for a Christmas wishlist... I've already bought way too many tech gadgets this year already, so I'm asking friends and family for cash or gift cards to help offset those purchases instead of having them struggle to think of even more stuff to give me.

I bought an iPad in May,

and a VitaMix blender last month (which I like, but dang, it was expensive).

(There was also the KitchenAid food processor, the home theatre system, ... yeah, I've bought enough "stuff" for myself this year already.)

All I really want is my fiancé visa to be able to get to really start my life... And maybe a car to go with my newly earnt driving license... Lol

My College has a trip there every winter for five days. Luckily I am able to go this year so I am pumped big time.

We went last year for 4 days, got a major snow storm on our way there with a rental car with all season tires and the GPS told us to go up the mountain route instead of the highway. Took us about 8 hours instead of 5. It was well worth it, fresh snow. :D

i would love to wake up christmas morning to a brand new maxima se

BUT i'll probably end up with something more along the lines of a pack of boxers...

Not that I usually condone this type of thing... I want to do it because I have never built a computer before, and just because I can.

I spoil myself rotten during the year, which usually leaves me with nothing of interest for the holidays.

1) So like last year, clothes are the main thing on my list. Just essential everyday type stuff from J.Crew.

2) A nice road bike would be a plus, too. ;)
I typed in road bike on google images and this one looks swell.

3) And lastly, acceptance into a nice graduate program.

Thanks santa!

Which one is better?
Nothing else really.

I bought the same chair from the officechairstation.com for under $200. It should be here tomorrow. Also bought an iPad 32GB. Should be here next week. I think I'm good for my wishlist for now.

Edit: I stand corrected. Just played with the Magic Trackpad. Now I want one. Going to pick one up within a week or two.

my wishlist is these two

DJ DAO Real Edition Double (for my beatmania IIDX games)

Hori Real Arcade Pro. EX PREMIUM VLX

The new MacBook Air, 11.6'' base model. Going to New York during christmas and will buy there the new Air. Here in The Netherlands it costs 1000 euro, in the USA it's around 700 euro (converted dollar - euro). Difference of 300 euro!

That's what I did in 2008 when the Original Mac Book Air came out, it saved at the time more than €450.:)
