ok with christmas being only a couple months away i was wondering what everyone is hoping to get.

Here ill start off: im getting a imac 20 inch in a couple weeks so i cant expect much . im just hoping for an ipod nano.

So what are you hoping to get?😀
 
Nothing really. Christmas isn't that great of a holiday anyway and I don't really need more crap lying around my house.

I do...but "a few months is a fairly long time" I have a few things it mind, but its all about how easy they are to come by and if I buy them in the next few months....I think this thread should be saved for Dec 1st
 
i want an xbox 360, but i usually get money and already have a decent chunk of change in the bank so i'll probably be buying it myself.
 
I know what I want, but I'd be semi-ashamed to post it here. It has to do with my nerd habit. $1 to anyone who can correctly guess. 😉
 
Enough time off to get down south and see my family and friends properly
A nice scarf
A good book or five
A day out with my mum
A few drinks and a catch up with various friends
Snow (but I'll settle for pleasing frostiness)
 
I have kids so Xmas has become more about what they get than what I get. I'm getting them a Mac, their first computer. Either the low end 17"iMac or a mini with a cheap monitor.
 
I really don't know because I have an iPod, I'll never get a computer, and I'm certain I won't get a PS3 or Wii. So maybe............ dear god I give up. I can't think of anything. I'll think about it and post later.

I'm asking for clothes for christmas, since I'm in need. I don't know why i bother half of what my family gets me gets returned anyway because they have no concept on what my style is.

I'm asking for Kids in the Hall DVD's, Beast Machines DVD, a few budget PS2 games, maybe some Transformers and probably some other things but that's all I can think of at the moment.

My birthday is the same week of Christmas so growing up I always made my list long and they would just give me some things on xmas the others on my birthday.

But since my niece and nephew have been born (last 4 years) Christmas is more about them. Getting gifts really isn't important to me like it was when I was young. My mother loves gift giving though, so she always go way overboard even when times were tough.

I'm just hoping I can enjoy it this year. It's usually so stressful.

oh, and I hope the weather sucks. Last couple of years it's been in the 50's/60's and sunny around that time. What fun is Xmas if it isn't cold & miserable? Part of the gig is huddling indoors...

This is my first christmas with a child, so I guess I'll be getting on that bandwagon. It's too early to get her a Mac, but I think her mom might be getting a new 24" iMac...🙂
