Chrome browser sound not working

youtube, hbogo, etc. sound doesn't work unless i reboot. is there a fix? really dont want to use safari (no problems) as default browser
 
Happen with me too

ended up re-installing ML and NOT applying the latest update, too many issues for me
 
Restarting is the only fix I've come across so far. Not very elegant, but neither is a thread bump. 😉
