Hey guys,

Recently i've noticed a strange issue, my chrome's flash plugin would crash quite often (a few times an hour) and I'd have to restart chrome to fix the issue. Is anyone else having these issues?

Nope, Flash is working fine for me.

I think you should give some more details about what what is happening. Which page are you trying to view?

Try disabling your extensions to see if the problem persists. It is possible that the conflict is due to an extension.

Also, check for updates to ensure you have the latest version.

this is happening for me too, flash dies after a while and so I have to restart chrome... just a black screen if I don't

It's not a black screen for me, the flash video area just disappears and becomes transparent, so say I have MS word open underneath a chrome window @ youtube.com, the video area would be see through and you'd see the MS word document underneath.

It's really strange, also I'm not using any extensions

EDIT: did some Googling, turns out there was an update recently to 7.517.44 and it came with a newer version of flash, it was released ~Nov 4th, so this could just be a version of flash that doesn't get along with my laptop. Bummer, looks like I'll be waiting for the next stable release...or jump onto Beta :D

Exact same thing happening to me...only not only in Chrome. Happens in Firefox as well. Anyone know a fix for this??

I've been getting this alot lately myself. I noticed it only happens after my GPU changes... are you guys using 15"+? Just curious. Flash goes bizarre if i switch back and forth from i to n, sometimes straight up crashes and other times it'll display as some odd window to my desktop, where I can see my wallpaper :/

same here, I think it has to do with the switching of graphic card on the fly...

Disable flash. It's the devil.

I love Chrome, due to the SEO extensions, but I HATE that it has flash built in. I just leave it disabled 95% of the time.

I'd rather use Safari but it doesn't have the extensions I need for SEO unfortunately.
