Chrome on Mavericks Slower?

Has anyone noticed that Chrome on Mavericks is slower than on Lion?

I've noticed a significant hit in performance, weird.
 
I've had Chrome installed and I always felt that safari is faster and uses less resources. So I removed Chrome.
