Chrome or Safari?

Safari, using chrome only for the off times I want to upload something to slideshare (oddly, the process goes very smoothly in chrome, but has a higher rate of failure in Safari).

I use all Apple devices, so it's pretty much a no-brainer.
 
FF because Safari can't block preroll ads on videos because of limits on the api to dev of Adblock. Sucks.
 
I'm forcing myself to use Safari even though Chrome has much better extensions. Does anyone know of a way to get notifications either in the browser or the notification center when I get a new Gmail without running the Mail app all the time? The Gmail Safari extension I found was abandoned years ago and doesn't work as much more than a shortcut to Gmail.
 
Safari ihas been my main browser for years. It does almost everything I need when browsing, and fast.

Second Web broswer installed; Chromium (latest version). I was always reluctant to install Chrome.

Chromiun seems SLOWER than Safari, but strangely, Apple Support Communities do not display correctly on Safari but great on Chromium. 😕

Since I didnt get an answer I checked myself.

For those curious Safari finally supports higher quality HTML5. Netflix and Youtube will both default to HTML5 and >720p is available with Safari using HTML5.

Safari still doesn't support WebM VP8 and MSE & WebM VP9 like Chrome.

I prefer Safari for its integration with iOS and keychain and a strange allegiance toward Apple (lol). However I find Chrome to be a more powerful browser. I also still run across webpages that don't support Safari as well as Chrome.

EDIT : ARGH. It doesn't appear you can AirPlay mirror Netflix from Safari when its using HTML5. Chrome can still do it without a problem. So back to Silverlight or Chrome for Netflix AirPlay mirroring. Further enforcing the technical superiority of Chrome. I love Apple integration but anymore you have to "settle" for subpar quality of the base program to enjoy the integration.

I posted this question but No responce (maybe better luck here?)

With chrome when I click a bookmark it does a quick flicker...anyway to turn that off?

Just an FYI, I just tried to see if I had the same problem. No flicker here and I opened up a few different bookmarks.
 
I'm going all out to say I use Firefox. I wish I could use Safari more but it doesn't always work well with some websites.

I don't use Chrome as I try to avoid Google products when possible. I'm not saying Google products are bad. I just don't like them as a company.
