I think it’s been half a decade since the last time Safari for Windows was updated.
Are you suggesting there is a Windows version of Safari? I don't think that's true anymore unless something has changed recently.

You're both right in that Safari for Windows hasn't been updated in years, which is why I said that the Mac version is way more modern. However, Safari for Windows does still exist, no matter how old and incompatible it is. For Windows, I would probably go with Chrome at this point, but I haven't really tried Edge, so that might be a worthwhile option as well.

If Brave had a way to sync across devices then it would replace Chrome on all of my devices. But in its current state, Brave is my main browser on my low resource devices (I own some Windows-based devices that are old or have a low amount of RAM).

I am an advocate of Brave replacing Chrome, but you might want to check this out! I had amazing results.

I switched back to Firefox last year and haven't looked back. They used to be the king of the browser wars, and with their focus on privacy and less RAM usage I'm glad to be back with them. If you remember Firefox...give it a try. It'll surprise you.
I’ve been using it as my main for a while now ans I love it. My 2nd browser is Vivaldi, and it’s really good too. My issue with Vivaldi, it’s not on iOS yet.

Anyone else have this issue using Firefox on iOS? I have a few sites that I’ll get this and I'm on the latest Firefox also. When this happens, I have to use Safari.

Looks like Google is joining Apple in its opposition to net neutrality. People love net neutrality until they don't, because people love censorship when it suits their convenience or their views. It's a slippery slope.

Chrome, a perfect machinery to support Ad Industrial Complex i.e. Google. Not only can Google track your search, but also track your entire browsing habits, perfect for Google. It's an oxymoron for Google to support block ad blocking when the primary purpose of Google's existence is to provide more ads.

Somewhat off-topic but can't find an answer anywhere. Does anyone else's Chrome or Chromium-based browsers take an inordinate amount of time to open after boot? This has happened to across Mojave and Catalina and Macbook Pros. All the usual tricks with reinstalling Chrome and like have been performed along with a new comp, fresh install, no login items with and w/o Norton, no extensions, etc...
