    Not surprising.

    Embedded device security is a joke, to the point of being nearly nonexistant. The current fascination with connecting everything to the internet must be matched with an understanding that this makes it a target and that steps must be taken to secure it. So far, it hasn't.

    I'd start using that in court to get out of tickets.

    The problem with Wi-Fi or Cellular connection to the Internet and car manufactures are going to have security teams to harden the car electronics!
