CineBench r15 won't run - resource error

I want to run CineBench r15 for Mac, but it always comes with some error about a corrupt resource folder. I have downloaded it several times from Maxxon, but nothing works. Any suggestions? I would like to do my own benchmarking to comepare the three graphics cards that I have.

So it doesn't like El Capitan or Sierra then?

Well, I rolled back my Mac Pro to El Capitan and got CineBench r15 to work.
