Cinema Display 23" on Powerbook 12"

Hello!

I bought last week an Apple Cinema Display 23", though not the latest model but that one with three legs. I use it with my Powerbook 12" 1.5 GHz and it works nice, the only problem is I cannot adjust up to 1920 x 1200. The maximum resolution I can select is 1600 x 1024. But I'm pretty sure that both the display and the Powerbook may hit 1920 on 1200.
Anyone an idea?

are you sure it's a 23" and not a 22"? apple made a 22" dvi display and later a 22" adc display (both the 3-leg design) that had a max resolution of 1600x1024
