MP 1,1-5,1 Cinema display A1267 with 3,1 MP

Hello all,

I've been thinking of purchasing an A1267 cinema display for my MP 3,1. The only thing i'm concerned about are the connectors. It has a mini DP cable (which i can buy an adapter) but all the demonstrations of it being used is with a MacBook. Is there any difference in the display out?

I'm running Catalina via dosdude1's patcher, and I have a gtx 680 2gb (metal supported)
