24" apple cinema display

my monitor doesn't work sometimes. Could get it to work here n there when I wiggle the wire, or have it sitting in a particular way.

can this be fixed?

out of warranty btw

How do you connect the 24" ACD to what Mac, what adapter and cable is involved? I guess it is one of the newer Macs with MDP, but if that is the case, what exact adapter did you get (link)?
[/INDENT]

minidisplay port to 2010 macbook air

works intermittently

I'm going to presume it's a 24" LED Cinema Display rather than the 24" Cinema Display mentioned above.

My suggestion is to pick up a new adapter from a brick and mortar store with a good return policy. This will let you rule out any issues with the current cable. If the issue is the same, you might be in a jam with either a bad screen or a bad MBA port.

yea it's the LED 24"

tried connecting it to a macbook pro, does the same thing, so ruling out the port as the issue.

I don't understand what you mean buy a new adaptor. The minidisplay port cable goes directly from the ACD to a macbook.
