Below are the specs for recording video on the new iPhone 7 but I'm confused what's the difference between Optical image stabilization for video and Cinematic video stabilization?

The short answer is OIS for video is hardware and Cinematic video stabilization is software.

Back then when they debuted the iPhone 6+, it had OIS only for still photos. However, both the 6 and 6+ had Cinematic video stabilization. Many people got the two confused. They've now added OIS for video.

So will OIS for Video work when shooting in 4K also?
