Can anyone advise. Is this covered by the warranty?

Looks like possible burn in. What did you have in that spot most of the time? Did you try rebooting the phone? If so, does it still show?

I honestly don’t know. The thing is the spot isn’t visible on black or white.

May you share your wallpaper with us? What is the app you most using? Also do you use wireless charging?

Very weird. Looks like the MagSafe charger mark. But it's on the wrong side of the phone.

Definitely covered by warranty. And if it's not something you've done, perhaps they'll fix it after warranty for free too. Take it to Apple and see what they say - it's worth a try.

I wonder how it happened though - what are your suspicions as to the cause of the circle?
