Somewhere along the way my Google search results have gone from clickable (and easy to copy) links w/cached copies to a long Google link. It seems that Google is using JavaScript to replace the actual link with an indirect one, which redirects the browser to the actual destination. However the redirection doesn't occur until after Google and other 'third parties' add tracking cookies to your browser. You can defeat this by disabling "script" for www.google.com in uMatrix. Suddenly all the clickable links and bonus - the cached copies return!
Thanks for these tips! I wish it were that easy to stop some of the other sites that like to redirect things. I still have to use safari to view .jpg links from photosuckit.
