Ok this will sound strange since I am working in computers, but I am starting in MacOSX domain (I've been a Windows user since ever)
I use 2 Cisco VPN at the same time 1) for Work and the other for my Work times.
When I keep my connection open for too long and not doing anything it auto disconnects me and reask me for my password.
But if I click cancel or I'm away and miss the message and come back, when I click connect, it keeps giving me an error saying that the VPN is not available.
The only fix I found at first was to reboot my Mac.
Yesterday I found a fix by modifying the lines in racoon.conf for timeline 24 hours instead of 3600secs.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it seems to bug still.
So the only 2 way i found for this to work is
1) Continuasly sends ping to my work to keep my connection active
2) When it bugs run sudo launchctl stop com.apple.racoon and then start.
Is there another way because it's starting to annoy me
Using 10.6.7 Thanks
