Is there *any* chance this will run? And if yes, will it be so cripplingly slow that its not even worth it? Sorry for the sophomoric question

i7 / 16gb RAM
 
As it's not a game you'll necessarily be wanting over 30FPS you should do ok at 900p medium settings, or 1080p low.
