I cannot get Civilization VI (Steam version) to run reliably for more than a few turns on any of my Macs running macOS 26.5. It always crashes.

I have tried running under Rosetta2, limiting threads in the config file. Nothing works.

Has anybody else seen this? Has anybody found any workarounds?

For now, I dusted off an Intel MacBook Pro running Sequoia.

I pumped your question into claude ai and it stated its a well known issue with series of steps to fix it.

Sadly, the rules are such that I cannot paste these steps,

Here's some of the info put in my own words. Lower "Performance Impact" and "Memory Impact" setting, lower other graphics settings and enable "Low Resolution Mode"

Might I suggest sending a C&P PM, no rules broken.
