In an attempt to scan my whole hard drive with Clam Xav, it went through a never-ending loop for 18 hours without me noticing because I didn't go on the computer that whole time. Now I can tell my CPU got really hot and now there is a slight foul smell, that smells like a mixture of burning and plastic. Now my mac works perfectly fine its just there is a smell. I can be anxious and worrisome sometimes so I'm not sure if I'm overreacting but this happened 3 days ago. Is it safe to say my Mac is ok?
