Too young to have grown up with Howdy Doody. Although clowns really creep me out I feel bad for his family, friends and fans.

Clarabell says... Boo!

84 is not that bad though...seen alot, applied much make up and now off to the big top in the sky

I remember watching Howdy Doody on our family's first television - a B&W one, about 10", if memory serves me correctly, and encased in a huge cabinet.

Can still sing the theme tune. It's amazing the weird things that lodge in your brain.
