Too young to have grown up with Howdy Doody. Although clowns really creep me out I feel bad for his family, friends and fans.

84 is not that bad though...seen alot, applied much make up and now off to the big top in the sky 😉

I remember watching Howdy Doody on our family's first television - a B&W one, about 10", if memory serves me correctly, and encased in a huge cabinet.

Can still sing the theme tune. It's amazing the weird things that lodge in your brain.
