I'm going to give me mac a clean install, as it's been really slow over the summer but i'm also heading back to university so i want to delete everything from last year.

I was just wondering before i do the clean install, what else to i need to do in iTunes? I've backed up all my tv shows and movie downloads. Anything else? What happens to the authorization?

Thanks for any info

De-authorise your music before you reinstall or the new install will use up one of your machine licences. Having said that, there are far more efficient ways of speeding a computer up than reinstalling the OS. Simply creating a new account is a good start. Also, simply deleting unused apps might help, if you need the space. :)
