clean install of leopard, restored keychain, having issues

wiped and installed leopard clean on my gf's ibook

copied her old keychain file over and am now having odd issues. safari seems to always ask for the old password to access the keychain, and there also seems to be some weird stuff going on with airport (perhaps keychain access for WPA key etc?)

is there anything special that needs to be done so that the restored keychain works properly?
