I'm on Lion and I want to completely erase everything and start again. How do I do this?

I have the Snow Leopard DVDs and iLife '11 DVDs. Could I format my hard drive or would that mess things up?

Do you have a 4GB or larger USB Drive or a spare Hard drive?
You can get the Lion Recovery Tool : http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1433
That will create the Lion Recovery Partition so you just use that to do a clean install of Lion without the hassle of going through SL and DL & Installing Lion

8gb usb stick off of amazon (or retailer of your choice), follow the link above, boot from lion stick, wipe and install!

or...

you could ask apple store to do this for you...i think.
