Clean Install of Yosemite?

I just purchased a used Mac Mini on ebay. It is a mid 2010 with 4 GB of Ram. It has a fresh install of Mavericks (I assume, I haven't received the computer yet.). I plan on upgrading to Yosemite. Should I just do a simple upgrade or should I do a clean install?

Since you got it used, I would do a clean install of it. This way it's 100% all you and your stuff, and you know anything of the past user is gone.

I also did a clean install. Put Yosemite onto a USB and did a clean install, worked great with a slow internet connection.

It has a fresh install of Mavericks...just do a simple upgrade

As highlighted above...just the simple upgrade as it's clean.

I agree with post 5, make a bootable usb of Yosemite, then clean install.
