can anyone confirm that this option now gives a clean install copy of macos mojave?

I un-enrolled my 2017 mbp from the beta program, restarted holding comm & r (no '-'), wiped my drive, and installed the final release. Took about 15/20min. I'm now presented with a fresh copy of Mojave. ..just fyi

i am on high sierra. if i do option-cmd-r will it give me mojave and option to do a clean install?

Option-CMD-R should install the latest available OS according to Apple documents. You can try it without messing up your original partition. Just press the Option-CMD-R buttons and let it load the latest OS. If you see Mojave installer it is good and you can wipe and install from there, otherwise, you might need to wait a few days. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204904

I did a clean install on my mBP TB. Just created a usb install media restart, hold option key, and choose the install media. Format the SSD, done. Worked like a charm .

Why on 2018 it says security cant install from usb drive
You need to hold CMD + R and change the settings just to install, after you can turn it on again.

Sooner or later you will have to install Mojave, why not to start now.
