iv just downloaded the new program cuz of an update and i keep getting this issue even though iv entered my password , does anyone else use clean my mac 2 or can any one suggest a cleaner program ? , thanks

yeah just nothing iv tried 3 different dmg files and nothing

I had this problem with another program in the past years but I have to tell you I didn't used password that's why. I think you make a restart, right ?

downloaded it and it worked and asked to restart so i did then it wanted to verify the hdd again and it got stuck on that for like 10 min when last time it took about 2 min

Did you tried verify disk (permissions) and repair disk (permissions) from disk utility ? Also what version of Onyx did you downloaded, the Beta or the MAS ?

guess it was an old version , i just removed it ,

Personally, I found no need for Onyx or Clean my Mac. They don't do anything special and my Macs have been running problem free and fast w/o it.
