I posted this in the OS X forum but haven't had any replies so I though I would try over here...:

I giving my old faithful 17" PowerBook G4 away to my Hungarian Brother In-Law.
I would like to do a clean install of Tiger but cannot find the Hungarian language in the first screen where you select the primary language. Is there a way to get Hungarian loaded right off the start or do I have to load and then use system pref. to make the change? Any suggestions would be welcomed. Just want to do this right the first time.

Thanks for your time.

Isn't there a choice for more languages on the first screen?

Otherwise yes, that would probably be the most sensible route, as Hungarian is fairly unusual many programs may be in English instead.

thanks for the reply.

There about a dozen languages on the first screen but Hungarian is not one of the choices.

Maybe I'm getting confused with the location chooser on the next screen, but there is no option for choosing a more unusual language on the first screen?

Not while trying to reinstall Tiger. I have looked a few times and gone to the next few steps looking for that option but no luck. I will try again later today and let you know the outcome.

Thanks
