I'll be purchasing a used 2010 soon that has been sitting under a bookcase. Any suggestions for removing the dust? (Do I use canned air through the CD slot, etc.?

Thanks

Take off the bottom plastic cover and have a look inside and see if it is actually dusty first.

Do I use canned air through the CD slot

No, that just pushes more dust into the CD drive.

I use a Dyson handheld with a soft bristled brush. You just keep the point of the handheld near the brush tip as you brush. You can open the base and brush around and also the vent and ports on the back.
