Any suggestions on the "best" way to clean my MB?

Possible ways to remove the impossible-to-avoid scuffs?

There have been a few other threads on this topic. People have recommended Mr. Clean's magic erasers for the palm area and for scuffs. Use iklean for the screen & outside. A can of air's great for getting inside the keys.
