Used a Haier Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner. I used some warm water with a little liquid dishwasher detergent. Removed the band from the watch and let it clean for about 7 minutes, then went over it with a toothbrush on both sides. Rinse and dry. The secret to longevity is to keep the dirt/dust etc out of it because it turns into an abrasive, like sandpaper.

I would say it depends how often you clean the link bracelet that requires what methods. For me, I just take a soft fine bristle brush, a little warm soapy water and a microfiber cloth and I have it looking like new after so wearing it so many times. I also make sure I thoroughly dry it and separate the links if I have to to remove all the excess water.

I am trying to remove one of the links to shorten the bracelet (I've had the same one since the Apple Watch 0) but none of 6 remaining removable links will release when you press the button. Would cleaning it fix it, of do I need to go to a jewelry store where they have good tools?
