cleaning exterior

What do you folks use to clean the exterior of your MBP's? I have some kind of white residue (made sure it wasn't scratches) on the bottom of mine, and I want to know the safest and best way to clean them off.

I use these wipe we got from staples or grand & toy they work quite well.

That's what I thought. I'm afraid to try anything that might have any solvents on the exterior of my MBP.
