    Hi all,

I have got a 24" iMac but the guy I bought it off had previously taken the glass off the screen to upgrade the hard drive. The result is the inside of the glass has fingerprints on it.

I have tried using wet wipes but haven't found them very effective so just wondering what the best way to clean the glass is.

    Thanks

Any liquid or just wipe it with the cloth? Thanks

I typically don't need to dampen it, but some people like to do that.

Apple gives instructions on how to clean your Mac in the User Guides for the MBA, MBP and iMac:
Also, you'll find plenty of suggestions by searching through the many existing threads on this topic.

I sprayed milk all across my 27" iMac (while it was on) once when I was drinking the remaining milk from a cereal bowl and coughed at the same time. My cat got hit too! :D

Edit: I had to clean the iMac myself, but at least my cat is a self-cleaning unit!
