What do they use?Apple Store can do the clean for you if you don’t mind some waiting. Usually pretty fast.
How much air? Pressure?Just blow some air?
My god...
Good question.Any tips on cleaning out the speaker grill? The opening is so tiny now. Tape?
I have no idea. But they did cleaning for me and the result is amazing. What do they use?
A lot, like... Really a lot.How much air? Pressure?
How many PSI before the speaker is damaged?
That's what I do......................a small shop vac held at a few inches away, while lightly brushing the speaker with a soft toothbrush.Use a vacuum on it (use the duster attachment), not a high setting but a low to mid. I've done this to all my phones for years without any issues.
Brand new phone is already dirty? Dropped in a bowl of porridge or something?Any tips on cleaning out the speaker grill? The opening is so tiny now. Tape?
Used that stuff plenty back in the UK. Not sure what the USA equivalent is called or even sold here ?View attachment 2398960
Blu Tack is the way to go. It’s a putty type substance that sticks to everything and leaves zero residue behind. All my phones have no debris in any of the speakers because I clean them once every 1-2 months.
I am from the UK so I am unaware of what the US equivalent is. I don’t know of anyone else who uses this substance other than me but it is hands down the best thing you can use. Even the tiny speaker ports in the original SE can be cleaned with ease.Used that stuff plenty back in the UK. Not sure what the USA equivalent is called or even sold here ?
Those of us that grew up with the NES know that this solution is infallible.Just blow some air?
My god...
It's some pink equivalent in the USA completely forgot its name. Probably contains high fructose corn syrup 🤣I am from the UK so I am unaware of what the US equivalent is. I’m sure that’ll be fine to clean your phone despite it not being suitable for human consumption 😂.It's some pink equivalent in the USA completely forgot its name. Probably contains high fructose corn syrup 🤣
