I keep my iPhone 4 in my pocket, and somehow a ton of lint managed to get stuck between the metal frame and the speaker grille. I tried tweezers, but they seem to be stuck really tightly. How do I clean this?

P.S. It's stuck on the speaker grill only; the mic is clean, for an unknown reason.

Spit on it as it seems that your saliva is disintegrating it.
    :)

I have the same issue on both mic and speaker.

I use a soft toothbrush once a week on my iphone4. Works like a charm getting dust and such out of the speaker holes and charging port. I also carry my phone in my pocket.

I have dirt stuck inside the headphone jack that covers up the water sensors. Took it Apple and they somehow moved it to the side. Strangest thing ever.

It seems that my theory about the saliva is growing in popularity.
