Interesting. Do you happen to have a link?

Just enter "iphone dust stopper" into ebay search, and you'll get a good selection. I use the combined lightning and headphone jack stopper. Very cheap, very effective.

There's certainly no shortage of them available :) Thanks!

The otter box sometimes keeps dust sways some times it does not
I got annoyed with it trying to flip the things open. finally got my phone in a pouch and the problem has been taken care of. but the iPhone was the only phone that survived in my shop for more then a few months. flip phones would start sounding bad then stop working. since the 3 I have not had a problem with a phone and sawdust.

I do even with the otter box

They sell plastic toothpicks, stronger and u don't run the risk of it breaking.

Any other ideas if my phone isn't charging unless I wiggle the cable? If I hold the cable with pressure forward it charges, otherwise it's on/off and sometimes I wake up after charging overnight to a still dead battery.

The necessity for pressure to charge hints that Lightning slot is stuffed with lint. Use something non-metallic to clean it out. Some suggest a toothpick. I found a stiff sliver of the clear plastic used to package devices works well.

That lint is packed and and will not come out easily. Removal will go faster if you position the opening under a bright light, so you can spot the lint and tell when you've removed it all.
