Might cause some streaks on the aluminum, but I clean my keys with alcohol pads all the time.

I'm cleaning the case with Isopropyl - no streaks, no marks, no stains.

Go for a non ammonia based commercial cleaner. I use iKlear myself...

White vinegar and water, I believe Windex makes a version of this. I know it works wonders on stainless steel appliances, and other metals with NO streaks or runs.

Also iKlear which is sold at Best Buy and Apple stores works wonders also.
